1.)Which of the many types of illusions do you find the most interesting?
2.)Which specific illusion was the most interesting and why?
3.)After exploring this page do you think seeing is believing?

  1. 1.) I think the ones that are most interesting are the ones that make you think you are seeing something that is actually not there.
2.)The illusion that was the most interesting to me was the one with the blue dot in the middle of the green circle. This is the most interesting because I have experienced this before by looking at a dim light in a dark room, and the light disapers.
3.)Definatley not. Seeing is only light coming in through your eyes and a chain reaction of neurons sending this message to your brain. So if something is wrong with your neurons or neurotransmitters, you will see something that is not really there.

umm the young old one or the faces and vases probably

not really its just the way your brain and eyes work like most of them really didnt do anything to me like the blue dot in the green circle so not really

I found the one with the 2 birds and the american flag very interesting. the idea of the afterimage in my eyeballs is cool.

2.)Which specific illusion was the most interesting and why?

The american flag. because once i looked at the blank part of the screen, it really looked like a blurred picture of the American flag. its cool to know how your brain is being tricked as it is being tricked

3.)After exploring this page do you think seeing is believing?

Definately not. There is more to the world than what meets the eye.

  17. I found the illusions which you would stare at the center of then look at the wall or your hand, etc., were the most interesting.

I thought the depth spinner was most interesting. It appeared that when it spun one way it was getting closer and when spun in the opposite direction it seemed to move away.

In some cases yes, but in this one no. Our eyes tricked us into seeing things that weren't really there or things that weren't really happening.

    3) Seeing is the farthest alternative to believing; Optical illusions are only tricks to your eyes and brain.
